We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper II to join our team at Broadview at Purchase College, a vibrant senior learning community on the campus of Purchase College, State University of New York.

The Housekeeper II will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our interior common spaces, bathrooms, lobbies, entrances, locker rooms, fitness room, salons, movement room, and other areas as assigned. This includes high and low dusting, damp wiping horizontal and vertical surfaces, removing all trash, and performing other related duties as needed.

• Perform routine cleaning and related service work
• Demonstrate knowledge of Seven Basic Cleaning steps
• Practice proper methods of Infection Control in conjunction with cleaning procedures
• Maintain closet, housekeeping cart, and cleaning equipment in clean, orderly, and good working condition
• Adhere to departmental dress code and practices personal hygiene
• Meet or exceed departmental standards of quality as evidenced by quality control inspections and customer feedback

• Must possess a minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting
• Ability to read and write
• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• The ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language
