Source Inspector

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Source Inspector to join our team at Verify, Inc. As a Source Inspector, you will be responsible for traveling to various supplier facilities to perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications.
• Report inspection accept/reject information directly to the customer via web application.
• Travel to various supplier facilities to perform inspections.
• Use various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers.

Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Candidate must have practical experience performing in-process and final inspections on machined parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies.
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs).
• Experience using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
• Ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience performing inspections in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing with proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel.
