Job Overview:

The successful candidate will lead a team of diagnostic medical sonographers in performing routine and/or specialized diagnostic imaging exams using ultrasound technology. This includes supervising staff, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of diagnostic medical sonographers in performing ultrasound procedures and exams.
  • Ensure quality patient care and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to interpret images and provide feedback to sonographers.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain familiarity with cross-sectional anatomy and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • 5+ years of ultrasound technologist experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Valid and current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential.
