Position Overview:
We are in search of a highly skilled and dedicated Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney to enhance our esteemed legal team. This role presents a unique chance for a talented attorney to significantly influence complex trust and estate litigation cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for clients in trust and estate litigation, addressing disputes related to wills, trusts, guardianships, conservatorships, and fiduciary responsibilities.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to prepare cases and formulate litigation strategies.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including wills, trusts, estate plans, and probate applications.
- Provide legal counsel to clients regarding trust and estate planning and administration.
- Collaborate with fellow attorneys and paralegals to ensure the delivery of exceptional legal services.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations as required.
- Stay informed about current laws, regulations, and trends in the trust and estate sector.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through outstanding service.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant state.
- A minimum of three years of experience in Trust and Estate Litigation.
- Demonstrated experience in litigation involving complex trust and estate issues.
- Possession of an LLM or equivalent advanced legal degree is required.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional client service skills with a focus on relationship building.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
