Job Description

A Brake Technician is responsible for diagnosing and replacing brake pads on vehicles of all makes and models. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers. Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an automotive technician specializing in brakes and alignment
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications required
  • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment such as: wheel and tire equipment, braking system and alignment system
Essential Job Functions
  • Diagnose and repair and change brakes on vehicles of all makes and models
  • Properly and accurately align any car using a Hunter alignment machine
  • Install and perform tire maintenance
  • Ability to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
Non-Essential Job Functions
  • Paperwork - any and all related requirements
  • Customer Relations
  • Housekeeping, maintained daily
Safety Requirements
  • Perform all safety related items as per the Employee Safety Manual
  • Lift a minimum of forty-five (45) pounds
