Job Overview

As an Electrical Superintendent at Kiewit Corporation, you will oversee all aspects of electrical installation on large-scale oil, gas, chemical, and industrial EPC construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing daily inspections of work for Safety, Quality, and Productivity
  • Ensuring proper planning and communication for all operations
  • Identifying and solving problems that arise
  • Establishing budgetary guidelines and ensuring cost control measures are followed
  • Providing job safety training and awareness for all personnel
  • Establishing quality standards and ensuring all quality assurance and company standards are met
  • Developing and managing job schedules, coordinating work with other crafts, departments, contractors, and suppliers
About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Electrical construction industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role. You will be responsible for managing and directing project teams, ensuring project scope, schedule, and budget are clearly defined and understood.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 10+ years of experience in the Electrical construction industry
  • At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Direct project oversight on EPC related projects
  • Competence in the use of computer software applications for project control and administration
  • Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, and engineering drawings
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, specifications, and have a fluent understanding of the NEC
