Innovative Chemical Process Engineer

Position Overview
We are in search of a skilled and proactive R&D Chemical Engineer to engage in a variety of projects focused on energy and sustainability. This role encompasses diverse topics such as thermochemical biofuel production, chemical monitoring, air purification, sensor innovation, wastewater treatment, clean biomass combustion, and gas-to-liquids conversion.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Designing both bench-scale and pilot-scale reactor systems, particularly for thermochemical conversion processes.
- Utilizing mechanical skills for the conception, design, and fabrication of specialized laboratory equipment.
- Gaining hands-on experience in a chemical laboratory environment, including the use of various instruments and conducting wet-lab experiments.
- Employing chemical characterization methods such as gas chromatography and spectroscopy.
- Engaging in programming with PLC and LabView, assembling electronic systems, and designing experiments.
- Participating in product development teams focused on new chemical-related HVAC/R innovations.
We seek individuals who are adept at identifying innovative solutions to complex challenges. Candidates should be self-driven and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Chemical Engineering.
- Relevant work experience.
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to ITAR regulations.
- Minimum GPA of 3.3 across all degree levels.
- Experience in a practical laboratory setting.
- Mechanical skills for the creation of custom laboratory apparatus.
