Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Serve all guests warmly and efficiently, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Stay Informed about our extensive beer list, including seasonal offerings and specialty beers, to make informed recommendations to customers.
  • Assist with Menu Selection and provide guidance on food preparation details to ensure a satisfying dining experience.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Bar Area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Process Transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Perform Basic Cleaning Tasks as needed, including sanitizing equipment and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Meet Grooming and Appearance Standards, consistently presenting a professional and well-groomed appearance.
  • Stand and Walk for Extended Periods, lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 pounds on occasion, and 10-15 pounds regularly.
  • Bend, Stoop, and Reach Frequently, maintaining a high level of physical activity throughout the shift.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent Oral Communication Skills required, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Positive Interpersonal Skills required, with a focus on building strong relationships with customers and team members.
  • Fluency in English required, with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • TABC/ABC Certification and Food Handlers Certificate required.
