Job Title: Doctorate of Audiology Externship

About the Role:
Audiologists with a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care are encouraged to apply for our Doctorate of Audiology Externship. As an extern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations of hearing and balance disorders under the direct supervision of a licensed audiologist.
- Provide prevention, habilitation, and rehabilitation services for auditory and balance problems.
- Participate in research related to hearing and balance disorders.
- Routinely examine the outer structures of the ear using otoscopy and physical examination techniques.
- Fit, program, and dispense hearing aids as needed.
- Participate in cochlear implant assessments and electrophysiologic evaluations of the vestibular and auditory mechanisms.
- Counsel individuals with auditory disorders and their families regarding the etiology and management of their condition.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements:
- Completion of three (3) years in a doctoral level audiology program or two (2) years in an accelerated doctoral level audiology program required.
- Temporary Audiologist License (California) required at hire.
- Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
