Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic's Fairview Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) team. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will provide direct nursing care to patients suffering from various medical problems and diagnoses, such as sepsis, respiratory problems, DKA, and stroke. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure effective and timely care.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol.
  • Document patient's condition and effectiveness of care and/or interventions.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required for acute care settings.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) required.
