Cardiovascular Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Providence Swedish Issaquah. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians with various technical procedures, including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular procedures and open surgical procedures.

• Assist with the performance of technical procedures under the direct supervision of a physician.
• Participate in daily duties necessary to perform high-quality patient care and imaging within the Cath/IR Department.
• Obtain optimal radiographs and assist the physician in an aseptic environment.
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Maintain knowledge of complex diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular equipment/supplies and assist with their use.

• Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiovascular program or successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program.
• Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification or Washington Radiologic Technologist certification.
• National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association and National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year of previous cath lab experience and 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.

• Master's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology, or a related health science field.
• 4 years of healthcare experience and 2 years of epidemiology experience.
