Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you will be responsible for performing inspections of fire protection systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of fire protection systems to identify potential hazards and deficiencies.
- Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address facility deficiencies and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with NFPA standards, industry changes, and obtain NICET certifications.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of experience in the fire protection industry required.
- NICET Certification preferred (or willingness and ability to obtain).
- OSHA 10/30 preferred (or willingness and ability to obtain).
- FDNY Certificate of Fitness preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Nassau COF Type 2, S12 & S13 Certificate of Fitness required.
- Industrial, commercial, and residential building environment with moderate to high noise levels.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
- Travel to multiple job sites in a day, with some overnight travel possible.
