Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention and care.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Wound Care and Management: Provide wound care and management services, including dressing changes, wound cleaning, and debridement.
- Education and Support: Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Education: Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
- Certifications: Current Health Certificate, Current PPD or Chest X-Ray, and Current BLS card.
- Experience: One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
- Adult Care: Experience in providing care to adult patients with various medical conditions.
- Tracheostomy and Gastrostomy Tube Care: Ability to provide care to patients with tracheostomies and gastrostomies.
