The ABC Unified School District is a leader in educational innovation and planning, recognized for its outstanding programs in counseling, alternative education, staff development, and labor relations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Five (5) years of law enforcement, school district office level, or private security experience, three (3) years of which must have included direct supervision and training of personnel.

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university of higher learning in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

Possess a valid California Class C driver's license and the ability to maintain insurability status under the District's vehicle insurance policy.

Successful completion of Peace Officers Standards Training (P.O.S.T.) Basic Certification or higher, which has been approved by the Department of Consumer Affairs Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (B.S.I.S.) and the Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.).

Successful completion of SB 1626 training and certification, which has been approved by the Department of Consumer Affairs Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (B.S.I.S.) and the Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.)

Valid First Aid and C.P.R. certificates

PREFERRED:
