About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house Rehab Team at Mount Carmel Bluffs. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physical therapy care and services to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with implementing and providing physical therapy care and services to residents, consistent with regulations and established rehabilitation policies and procedures.
  • Provide patient and family education and consultation related to disorders and their management.
  • Communicate resident status and needs to patients, families, staff, and other professionals.
  • Provide direct care to residents with physician-ordered evaluations and treatments, based on regulations and established rehabilitation procedures and best practices.
  • Maintain all required documentation in accordance with regulations and established rehabilitation best practices.
  • Assist with daily operations of the rehab department, as directed by Physical Therapists and/or Director of Rehabilitation Services.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited program for physical therapy assistants.
  • Current licensure in the state of practice, as required.
  • Competence in physical therapy treatment and documentation, according to the Standards of Practice.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
