About the Role:

The GB Marine Group LTD is seeking a skilled Marine Carpenter to join our team in Stuart, FL. As a key member of our yacht repair facility, you will be responsible for planning and executing a wide range of finish carpentry tasks aboard vessels. The ideal candidate will bring a working knowledge of materials and tools used to create and modify yacht components.

Responsibilities:
  • Performing carpentry projects aboard Eastbay, Palm Beach, and Grand Banks Yachts as well as other vessels.
  • Constructing floors, doors, boxes, rails, and trim using woodworking machines, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Repairing structural woodwork and replacing defective parts and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
  • Installing prefabricated or custom parts such as hatches, marine hardware, metal trim, and other components.


Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with customers and staff.
  • Outstanding customer service and a passion for the marine industry.
  • Friendly, approachable personality.
