Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team as an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our pharmacy operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate entry of prescriptions into our system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter prescriptions into our pharmacy system with precision and speed
  • Communicate with customers via phone, providing prompt and courteous responses to their inquiries
  • Work under the guidance of a pharmacist to ensure compliance with State law and accurate prescription/patient information input
  • Troubleshoot prescription/patient data entry discrepancies and collaborate with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Current national/state pharmacy certification and State Board of Pharmacy registration
  • Strong computer skills
  • Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
  • Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
  • Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred
