Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Packing Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate order fulfillment. This position involves matching packing slips with shipping labels and verifying product descriptions against physical items. Quick Holdings LLC operates as a fulfillment center, and packing is a core function of our operations. We seek dedicated individuals who are adaptable and willing to work across various client projects and areas to meet the company's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately matching labels to packing slips.
  2. Identifying the correct products and quantities based on Packing Slips and Master Pick Tickets.
  3. Collaborating effectively with Managers, Leads, and fellow Packers.
  4. Embracing feedback for continuous improvement.
  5. Achieving targeted Orders Per Hour (OPH) set by Production Management.
  6. Maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality.

Compensation: $18.54/hr

Qualifications:

  1. Literacy – Ability to read effectively.
  2. Strong attention to detail.
  3. Manual dexterity – Capable of using a tape gun and/or tape machine.
  4. Physical stamina – Able to stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours a day.
  5. Availability to work extended hours as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Basic math skills – Proficient in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  2. Fundamental understanding of the English language.
  3. High School diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment:

  1. This position is based in a warehouse setting.
  • Typical warehouse conditions include:
  • Moderate noise levels.
  • Indoor work environment.
  • Temperature variations based on external weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Vision: Must be able to see well enough to read product lot numbers and expiration dates, as well as use a computer.
  • Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate effectively and respond to warning signals from equipment.
  • Standing: Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Walking: Must be able to walk independently to perform job duties.
  • Mobility: Must be able to move around to operate warehouse machinery.
  • Sitting: Must be able to sit for the duration of the shift.
  • Stooping and Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel for short periods.
  • Lifting: Must be able to lift between 30 lbs and 50 lbs.
  • Hand Mobility: Must have dexterity to open and seal packaging, use keyboard functions, and operate phone systems.
