We are currently looking for a PRN Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team on an as-needed basis.

  • Conduct phlebotomy procedures.
  • Execute routine laboratory tasks associated with the preparation of human biological specimens for microbiological, hematological, and chemical assessments.
  • Perform standard and urgent laboratory tests, including but not limited to CBC, BMP, CMP, PT, PTT, UA, PFA, rapid flu, rapid strep, occult blood, hCG, and hemoglobin A1c testing.
  • Document and scan relevant materials into patient records using our electronic health record system.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as directed by the laboratory director or supervisor.


Qualifications:

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Associate degree or higher in medical laboratory technology; or a bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical lab science, or a related field.

· ASCP or AMT certification as an MT/MLT/CLS is preferred.

· Minimum of one year of experience in a laboratory environment.

· Phlebotomy certification or eligibility is preferred.

· Familiarity with regulatory policies and standards.

· Basic computer proficiency.

· Ability to perceive color and color variations.

· BLS certification by AHA or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.



Experience Requirements:
