MRI Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Revo Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures, providing excellent patient care, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for physicians' use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury.
  • Inform and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain patient files, including internal and external films, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Prepare, clean, and stock work areas with supplies, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Maintain necessary precautions for exposure to the static magnetic field and non-ionizing radiation/radiofrequencies.
  • Communicate implant safety concerns and expectations to care teams and patients, ensuring patient comfort and safety during MRI exams.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved program.
  • ARRT Certified in Magnetic Resonance or a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an MRI department required.
