We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Long Term Care Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards and protocols.
- Direct and delegate care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of established hospital policies, procedures, and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection prevention programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Accredited School of Nursing degree in Nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Specialty certification preferred.
- 1 year of experience as a registered nurse, with a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Staff Nurse.
- Previous geriatric/rehab nursing experience preferred or will orient to point of competency.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to lift patients and equipment as needed. The ability to move around the area with frequent sitting and to bend, stoop, squat, reach, and kneel frequently is also required.
