As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
  • Document patient care given and monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and/or family.
  • Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needed.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher in nursing.
  • BLS – required upon hire and continuously thereafter.
  • ACLS – required within 6 months of hire and continuously thereafter.
  • PALS – required within 6 months of hire and continuously thereafter.
  • NRP - required within 6 months of hire and continuously thereafter.
  • CPI – required within 1 year of hire and annually thereafter.
  • Certification in Area of Specialty – Preferred.
  • 2 years of level II nursery experience is highly preferred.
