Primary Tutor

We're looking for a skilled tutor to join our team at Braintrust Tutors, providing reading support to K-8 students in a dynamic school setting.

This role involves working closely with students, either individually or in small groups, to deliver tailored reading interventions that cater to their unique needs. You'll receive comprehensive training and resources to ensure your success in implementing our evidence-based programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement targeted reading plans for K-8 students.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and our operations team to ensure seamless student support.
• Monitor student progress, adjusting instruction to meet evolving needs.
• Document student performance using our online platform.

Requirements:

• Degree in Education or related field.
• ELL Teacher Endorsement or TESOL Certificate.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching/tutoring school-aged children.
• Active or expired teaching license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly patient, empathetic, and dedicated to student success.
• Unwavering reliability and punctuality, ensuring 95% attendance at scheduled sessions.
