Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at Sierra Oral and Facial Surgery. As a key member of our oral surgery team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our surgeons and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, including preparing patients for procedures and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Take and develop radiographs, as well as prepare and dispense dental materials.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical and dental histories.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a dental setting, or completion of a dental assisting program.
  • BLS/CPR certification, with annual recertification fees covered by the company.
  • Experience with practice management software, particularly Open Dental.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
