Job SummaryThe Emergency Room Registered Nurse position involves utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, determine priorities, implement clinical interventions, and develop patient care plans to enhance outcomes.
Essential Responsibilities- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced setting as part of an interprofessional team focused on achieving individual patient and population outcomes
- Evaluate, update, and revise the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
- Serve as point of contact for patients' care coordination throughout hospital departments
- Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with State of Practice and organization's policies and procedures
- Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- BLS Basic Life Support or ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support and PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred at hire)
