Pharmacy Technician Trainee

The Pharmacy Technician Trainee is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring the efficient operation of the Pharmacy under the supervision of a pharmacist.

• Provide warm and welcoming guest service, acknowledging and engaging with guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Responsible for handling prescriptions, counting, labeling, and reconstituting prescriptions, as well as managing inventory and medication therapy management as allowed by state law.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling patient records and guest charge and delivery records.
• Mail out prescriptions and respond to phone calls from provider's offices and guests within scope of practice/license.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to complete on-the-job training and exam.
• Active and in good standing pharmacy technician trainee license issued by the Board of Pharmacy of the state(s) in which you are practicing.
• Must be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays as required.
• Retail pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to perform all physical aspects of the job, including bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, standing, and walking for 8-12 hour periods.
• Ability to function as a team member and get along with others, with a positive attitude and willingness to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude.
