Grill Master

El Pollo Loco is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a Grill Master, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking our signature citrus-marinated fire-grilled chicken to perfection.

• Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring high-quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive team culture.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.

• No prior experience required, but one or more years of restaurant cooking experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
• Ability to speak and read English is preferred (second language is a plus). Ability to communicate effectively with external customers required.
• Kitchen, time-management, and customer service skills are preferred.
• Food Handler Card: A food handler card required where applicable.
