The role of an Optical Services Professional at CEENTA involves collaborating with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality, compassionate optical services to patients. This includes assisting in the selection of prescription eyewear, ensuring frames fit individual needs, and educating patients on proper use and care.

With a strong focus on customer service, this position requires the ability to work effectively with patients and staff to ensure seamless delivery of optical services. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

A typical day for this role may involve ordering, processing, and dispensing eyewear, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining inventory of frames not participating in consignment programs. Additionally, the Optician will perform administrative duties such as documenting patient orders in electronic health records (EHR) systems and point-of-sale software.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with basic or advanced certification from the American Board of Opticianry (ABO). One to three years of experience in optical or customer-centered sales is preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
