Job Responsibilities- Provides high-quality nursing care to patients, members, and families, restoring and promoting health, and preventing illness and injury.
- Collaborates with leadership and healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
- Assesses and triages patients, including unscheduled patients and emergencies, and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
- Monitors patient and work flows, directing clinical support staff in the delivery of patient care.
- Initiates and monitors IV therapy, medication administration, and other nursing procedures as ordered by physicians or associate practitioners.
- Provides health education and counseling to patients and families, evaluating the effectiveness of the education process.
- Accurately documents patient data, actions, interventions, and patient response according to established guidelines and policies.
- Participates in quality improvement activities and responds effectively to patient concerns, serving as an advocate for patients and facilitating transitions and coordination of care across the continuum.
- Minimum two years of current RN experience.
- Associates degree.
- Registered Professional Nurse License (Georgia) required at hire.
- Basic Life Support required at hire.
