About the Role
The Mixologist will be responsible for assisting guests in selecting the ideal beverage tailored to their preferences. A solid understanding of wines and proficiency in cash and credit transactions is essential. The ideal candidate will maintain a tidy and organized bar while thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with established guidelines, procedures, and safety protocols set by the company.
- Efficiently set up the bar, ensuring all supplies are stocked and prepped.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Manage guest checks accurately by following established procedures and documenting all necessary information during the ordering process.
- Process guest payments while ensuring the accuracy of checks and payment methods to protect both customer and company interests.
- Complete all preparatory tasks before the bar opens for service.
- Comply with all local and state liquor laws.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests.
- Exhibit a professional demeanor, positive attitude, and courteous behavior.
- Maintain clear communication with all team members to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
- Keep all work areas organized and fulfill side work responsibilities to promote overall efficiency and success.
- Reset dining areas after service is concluded.
- Contribute to creating a delightful experience for all guests.
- Foster a fun work environment; approach each shift with a positive mindset and a willingness to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure all workspaces are cleaned and side duties are completed before the end of the shift.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications: What We Are Looking For
Experience with wine in a high-energy setting is essential.
Basic mathematical skills are required, including the ability to add, subtract, and provide accurate change to customers, along with clear handwriting and strong customer service and communication abilities.
A valid liquor license is mandatory.
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
One year of bartending experience is preferred.
Eligibility
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
