Fitness Program Manager

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fitness Program Manager to oversee the experience of our training clients at Savin Hill. This includes consultations, coaching sessions, program writing, and quality control of student training.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth consultations for new clients, including a full evaluation and written program to follow, ensuring a personalized approach to each client's goals.
- Lead coaching sessions and program redesigns for all Elite clients, focusing on ongoing progress and achievement.
- Develop new programs for clients in a timely manner following a Coaching session, at least 24-48 hours prior to their next scheduled session, guaranteeing continuity and momentum.
- Promote seamless handoffs between trainers and ensure they are familiarized with exercises, fostering a culture of teamwork and expertise.
- Contribute to monthly programming for our general client base who are training in-person and virtually, staying attuned to diverse needs and preferences.
- Utilize the Mindbody system to efficiently manage client intake, session scheduling, payment processing, and other administrative tasks.
- Monitor and enhance personal training sessions, providing expert guidance and support as needed to both trainers and clients, promoting exceptional service and results.
- Aid participants in pursuing ICW & ISSA Certifications, recognizing the value of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Offer constructive feedback aimed at developing the skills and competencies of trainers, aligning with ICW's commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
- Act as an ambassador for ICW's mission, philanthropic efforts, and various training programs, embodying the organization's values and passion for social justice.
- Provide coverage at other ICW sites when feasible, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in meeting business needs.
- Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute ICW events, contributing to the development of engaging experiences and opportunities.
- Design, manage, and market group fitness/class schedules for Southline Boston tenants and external clients, emphasizing community engagement and outreach.
- Engage in conversations with the Southline Boston management team about enhancing and expanding gym and fitness offerings, fostering innovation and partnership.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A genuine interest in social justice and alignment with ICW's mission and values.
- Proven experience in personal training and/or the fitness industry, showcasing your expertise and dedication.
- Ability to create effective training programs, leveraging your creativity and analytical skills.
- NSCA, NASM, ISSA, or equivalent certification, indicating your commitment to professional development and best practices.
This position offers a competitive salary of $30 per hour and estimated annual earnings ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 based on a 40-hour workweek, complemented by paid time off, free access to mental health resources, and additional compensation for sessions and referrals.
