Job Summary

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Baltimore, Maryland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality CT scans using prescribed techniques and protocols.
  • Review requisitions to ensure completeness and accuracy, verifying patient information and exam details.
  • Adjust equipment and select technical factors to produce optimal radiographic exposures.
  • Utilize standard positioning techniques to obtain diagnostic images.
  • Ensure proper levels of density and contrast are used to achieve optimal image quality.
  • Perform scanning procedures for various organs to localize pathological processes.
  • Complete examinations in a timely manner, ordering IV and oral contrast as needed.
  • Document administration of contrast and scan paperwork in Cerner.
  • Perform exam completion, screenings/consents, and paper scanning in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Current BLS, AART, and AART advanced certification.
  • MD LIC required.
  • Experience with GE and Siemens scanner equipment.
  • Preferred experience in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction, and other advanced imaging techniques.
