Job Title: Senior Teller

At Greenfield Savings Bank, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Teller to join our team. As a Senior Teller, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the operational soundness of the teller line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide unparalleled customer service through a high level of professionalism and effective communication.
  • Process routine and complex transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, and issuing official items.
  • Assist with branch reconciliations and help other tellers find and correct errors.
  • Order cash and verify incoming or outgoing cash as needed.
  • Speak with customers knowledgeably about complex accounts and identify opportunities to enroll them in additional services.
  • Meet personal referral and sales goals to contribute to the branch's performance.
  • Contribute to building a positive team environment and assume responsibility for self-improvement through training courses.
  • Act as a peer coach to other tellers and work with management to develop and implement best practices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of Meets Expectations on annual performance review.
  • 2-3 years of banking or financial services experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience in a cash handling position with customer service.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a sales environment (desired).
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform simple math calculations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. B.S. or Associates in Business or related field desired.
