Experience: Minimum of 3 years

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist is required.

License: AZ RT license required at the time of application

An AZ RT license is required at the time of application.

Certifications: BLS, RRT (Adults only); BLS, RRT, NRP (Adults and NICU)

Certifications include BLS, RRT (Adults only) and BLS, RRT, NRP (Adults and NICU).

Must-Have:
  • Proficiency with at least one of the following: Cervo I, Jets, Oscillators
  • 2 years of strong ICU experience
  • Ability to assist with bronchoscopies
  • Cerner experience
Job Description:
  • Perform 3540 procedures (RVUs) per day
  • Navigate RT duties, with specific assignments per day
  • No floating to outpatient areas
  • Serve on a team with a lead on each shift
  • Work every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per month
  • Participate in the holiday rotation
  • Handle all ABGs
  • Respond to Clinical Response Team calls with the lead
  • Operate all vents, bipap V60, and CPAP machines
  • Maintain excellent time management and communication skills
  • Engage in a 2-day orientation on the regular floor before validating skills
  • Wear designated scrubs
  • Engage in high-acuity patient care requiring a strong clinical background
