Job Summary:
To provide exceptional housekeeping services and special floor care maintenance throughout campus facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy environment. Responsible for the care and handling of housekeeping equipment, supplies, and assigned keys. Work Schedule: 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining facilities.
  • Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers.
  • Handle and store cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with special floor care maintenance, including stripping and refinishing floors.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of general housekeeping procedures and related equipment.
  • Ability to accomplish physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to understand and follow all safety precautions and work-related directions.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and frequently lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in commercial or institutional housekeeping.
  • Ability to effectively read and write.
  • Valid driver's license desired.
