At Best One Tire & Service, we are seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance functions and adjustments on trailing equipment in compliance with manufacturers and company schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Must be mechanically inclined and have experience in all phases of semi-trailer repairs, including brakes, electrical, floor repair, tires, welding, hydraulics, and preventive maintenance.
• Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation.
• Apply knowledge and work in accordance with DOT, EPA, interstate Authority, OSHA, and other rules and regulations.
• Responsible for shop cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
• Follow company policy and procedures in making all repairs.
• Participate in company training programs.

Requirements:

• Must have clean MVR, Drug Test, and pass DOT physical.
• Previous or current ASE certifications desired, not required.
• Basic welding skills such as Oxy/Acetylene, ARC, and MIG desired.

Salary: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Sign-on Bonus: $3000 after 3 months of employment
