About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our 11P Hematology/Oncology & Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Levine Children's Hospital. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our pediatric patients and their families. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients with hematology/oncology diagnoses
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement education plans for patients and families
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a current RN license in the state of North Carolina and a minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric hematology/oncology. You must also have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and a passion for working with children and families.
