Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Service Team Member to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-organized store environment, and supporting our sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockrooms, and customer areas.
  • Sales Support: Assist customers with purchases, process transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling and inventory procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals, maintain store standards, and support company initiatives.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and supporting store operations.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Availability: Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, move throughout the store, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retail Experience: Previous retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Customer Service Skills: Proven ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
