Job Title: Senior Principal Configuration Analyst

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Configuration Analyst to join our team of qualified professionals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Configuration Data Management (CDM) activities, including identification, change management, configuration status accounting, and verification and audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CDM standards, such as MIL-HDBK-61A and EIA-649B, and experience working with large-scale cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Assign and control program hardware/software data identification control numbers per program and Functional Home Room (FHR) mandates
  • Enforce and assign part and serial number requirements
  • Perform Technical Review Board and Configuration Control Board activities
  • Establish agendas, publish minutes, and track meeting actions
  • Process change packages through lifecycle, including disposition and documentation/hardware implementation
  • Perform program data release functions via Product Lifecycle Management tools
  • Develop and maintain various CDM reports for program support
  • Support internal program CDM audits against program SOW and Functional Command Media mandates
  • Provide aid to Functional Configuration Audits and perform Physical Configuration Audit
  • Document Management for deliverable CDRLs and non-CDRL documents
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree OR
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR
  • Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience OR
  • PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Domain knowledge of Configuration Management standards such as MIL-HDBK-61A and/or EIA-649B and/or EIA-649-1
  • Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Govt. DoD Top Secret Clearance prior to start date
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Large-scale cross-functional project team experience
  • Experience using TeamCenter, CPLM PLM tool, and Enovia
  • Active US Govt. DoD Top Secret clearance and/or active SCI access at time of application

The salary range for this position is $109,900 - $164,900. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
