As an EMT, you will respond to both emergency and non-emergency situations, providing high-quality patient care and outstanding customer service within the established protocols and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of treatment protocols, response criteria, and quality assurance processes within the assigned system.
  • Stay informed about any changes in system components and company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and company requirements for vehicle operation.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle in accordance with established policies and best practices.
  • Develop proficiency in quickly locating addresses through knowledge of local numbering systems and street layouts.
  • Keep the unit ready for service by ensuring mechanical reliability, medical supplies, equipment cleanliness, and adherence to appearance standards.
  • Promptly report any discrepancies in vehicle or equipment standards to the Lead Paramedic.
  • Complete all necessary documentation as per company policy.
  • Report any issues or unusual occurrences immediately to the Lead Paramedic or Supervisor.
  • Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to hygiene and uniform standards.
  • Participate in all mandatory training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as outlined in the job description.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Current Driver's License.
  • National Registry Certification - EMT.
  • State of Montana EMT Certification (or application submitted).
  • BLS, CPR certification.
  • Driving record compliant with AMR's Safety & Driving policy.
