Stormwater Engineer

Lane County Environmental Engineering Services is seeking a highly skilled Stormwater Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of stormwater plans, conducting hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and providing technical reports.

This is a senior-level position that requires a registered professional engineer (PE) license in the state of Oregon or the ability to obtain a license within 6 months of commencing employment. We are seeking someone with experience in stormwater conveyance and water quality treatment design, as well as a passion for stormwater management.

• Leading the development of stormwater plans using Autodesk Civil3D, completing construction cost estimates, and contract special provisions.
• Performing hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, providing detailed calculations, and producing technical reports.
• Working as a team member in project development/scoping, assisting in the environmental permitting and right-of-way phases, and providing construction and survey support.
• Project management to support development/scoping/implementation of stormwater control measures within public works divisions and coordinate with local jurisdictions, as needed.

• Valid Oregon Driver's License
• Professional Engineer (PE) Designation
• Bachelor's degree in a field related to area of assignment; and sufficient experience as necessitated by the competency level of the position.
