We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with elementary-aged students, providing essential speech and language services in a supportive school environment.

Position Details
  • Location: Golden Gate, FL
  • Contract Type: Full-time
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Caseload: Elementary-aged students
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote effective communication and language skills.
  • Monitor and document student progress towards therapy goals, collaborating with teachers and other school staff to ensure seamless support.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to provide input on students' speech and language needs and develop comprehensive plans to address these needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology, applying this knowledge to inform clinical decision-making and improve student outcomes.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Florida state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, with a strong understanding of their unique communication and language needs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines, with a high level of organization and time management.
