Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Driver Assistant to join our core team. As a Driver Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting our delivery drivers in transporting goods and materials, ensuring that all items are properly secured and organized for transport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Delivery Drivers: Load and unload goods and materials from the vehicle, ensuring that all items are properly secured and organized for transport.
  • Navigate to Locations: Help the driver navigate to various locations using GPS, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with the driver and customers, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Assist with Installations: Assist in installations of household appliances when needed, ensuring that all installations are completed to the highest standard.
  • Adhere to Safety Regulations: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Age Requirement: At least 18 years old.
  • Valid State ID: Must have a valid state ID.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug test, with no misdemeanors or felonies within the last 10 years.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift heavy objects up to 75 lbs. and work in all weather conditions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Installation Experience: Installation experience of household items is a plus, but not required (washer/dryer, refrigerator, stove, etc.).
