Leasing Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team at Brookfield Properties. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for meeting with prospective residents, identifying their housing needs, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a seamless leasing experience.

• Meet with prospective residents to discuss their housing needs and preferences
• Conduct applicant screening processes and prepare correspondence based on the results
• Prepare leases and related leasing addendums, and maintain accurate records
• Support the timely input and proper use of on-site property management software for leasing data
• Ensure apartments are ready for occupancy by inspecting and preparing move-in products
• Maintain current knowledge of marketing and leasing techniques, and strive to attain affirmative marketing goals
• Assist with resident retention and provide ongoing customer service to residents

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in Customer Service or Hospitality preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in leasing or sales required
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on the needs of the property
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of fair housing laws, affordable housing programs, and Microsoft Office
