Job SummaryWe are seeking a Resident Life Assistant to join our team. As a Resident Life Assistant, you will assist the Resident Life team with providing therapeutic recreation programs and experiences for the residents. These experiences are designed to improve each child's cognitive, physical, social, and emotional functioning abilities.
Responsibilities- Assist the Resident Life team with providing therapeutic recreation programs and experiences for the residents
- Help create a warm and nurturing environment for the residents
- Collaborate with the Resident Life team to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of the residents
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related experience, specifically with providing care and recreational programs to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Competitive pay rate
- Evening, night, and weekend shift differentials
- In this role, you may be eligible to receive the New York State funded Health Care Worker Bonus
