About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Aspire Speech & Learning Center, working in collaboration with the Central Valley Regional Center Baby Clinic team.

This is a part-time opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist who wants to work one or two days a week, focusing on screening children under three years old for speech and language delays.

As a member of our team, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of toddlers and their families, working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform Cognitive and Language Screening portions of the Hawaii Early Learning Profile with young children and their caregivers.
  • Score the HELP assessment to determine eligibility for Early Start services.
  • Integrate results with nursing and social work staff at CVRC.
  • Provide verbal reports and brief counseling to parents regarding concerns about their child's speech and language development.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
