About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Catering Server to join our team at ocVIBE. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, ensuring a positive experience from the outset.
  • Take food and beverage orders, making recommendations and upselling daily specials to enhance the guest experience.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to our strict guidelines and ensuring the safety of our guests.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of guest orders, communicating effectively to ensure seamless service.
  • Deliver professional, courteous, and efficient service to guests, presenting them with their check and settling payment in a timely and professional manner.
  • Responsible for completing all station set-up, breakdown, and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Support your colleagues to ensure guests receive high-quality service, providing notes and insights to enhance the experience.
  • Protect our establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies.
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • 1-2 years' experience as a server in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with fellow workers and supervisors.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods, lift, push, and pull 20lbs, and travel up and down stairs consistently during work shifts.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
