Job Title: Senior Java Developer with IRS Clearance

This is a remote position.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with IRS clearance to join our team at 3M Consultancy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying modern Java web applications iteratively in the AWS environment using DevSecOps tools.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop modern Java web applications using DevSecOps tools
  • Work in a Test-Driven Development environment
  • Collaborate with our team to craft technical strategy
  • Work with Cloud Technologies AWS, etc.
  • Work in a JVM based environment with the technologies listed below in requirements
Requirements
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience in related area with at least 5 years of software engineering experience
  • Strong programming skills with Java 8+
  • Experience with Spring Framework Core, Boot, Data, JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, Python, etc.
  • Experience working with container-based technology such as Docker
  • Experience working with Configuration Management/Automation technologies such as Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible, etc.
  • Experience with Python, EKS, Helm is preferred
  • Experience working in Agile Development environments Scrum, SAFe
  • At least 3+ years of experience working in AWS environment
  • Experience working in cloud native systems
  • Experience with DevOps / DevSecOps
  • Experience implementing modern web applications
  • Experience with teams of technologists of varying backgrounds and levels of experience
  • Experience managing end-to-end delivery, from UX design to production release
  • Experience working within a Continuous Delivery Patterns and Practices
  • Experienced operationalizing, monitoring, and maintaining distributed systems
  • Active Public Trust Clearance with IRS component/agency is highly preferred
Clearance Requirement

Active MBI with IRS highly preferred. Must be U.S. Citizen. This position is remote.
