Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our Facilities Engineering team at OU Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance-plumbing work, including the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and related systems.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in plumbing, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber. A trade school degree in plumbing is preferred, and licensure by the State of Oklahoma as a Journeyman Plumber or Plumbing Contractor is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installs, alters, maintains, and repairs various plumbing fixtures, including sinks, lavatories, toilet units, bathtubs, shower units, automatic flush valves, faucets, traps, etc.
  • Installs, alters, maintains, and repairs sewer, water, gas, steam, and airlines.
  • Installs and repairs pipe coverings.
