About Our Unit: We are excited to introduce a new alternative care unit at The University of Vermont Medical Center. Opened in 2024, Shep 3 North is a specialized unit caring for 18-20 long-term patients awaiting placement. This unique environment offers candidates the opportunity to develop strong communication and leadership skills.
Unit Description: As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a long-term care facility setting. You must have excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities: Your primary focus will be on delivering patient-centered care, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and support. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Salary Information: We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a $10K RN Sign-On Bonus (pro-rated for part-time roles) to attract top talent.
